Do you accept longterm care insurance?

The short answer is yes, we accept long-term care insurance. However, we asked the client and/or family to be reimbursed by insurance, not Whole Hearted Senior Home Care. To discuss more about the long-term care insurance process, please contact our office. We are more than happy to assist with monthly insurance specific paperwork for client reimbursement.

can we provide transportation?

Yes! We can transport you or your loved ones to doctors appointments, stores or just simple to get out and about from the house! Please note that there is a charge if caregiver needs to drive their personal care.

do you charge an additional fee for overnight care?

In most situations we do not. Whole Hearted Senior Home Care would charge an extra fee for overnight care if our caregivers needed to be awake the entire shift, with no rest at all.

how do family members stay in the “loop” if they live far away?

Whole Hearted Senior Home Care uses a platform called “Clear Care”. Clear Care is an amazing platform that we use for all aspects of care in our clients homes. Family members an clients are able to see their schedule, add requests for caregivers, see invoices, and see all documentation our caregivers note during their shift. It’s available 24/7 and is a great way to keep in the communication loop of what goes on day to day.

How much is your deposit?.

Whole Hearted Senior Home Care calculates your deposit off of the amount of contracted hours. We ask for “last week of contracted hours” when signing on with us.

What is the minimum amount of hours per day we provide care ?

Our minimum amount of hours we provide care per day is 4 hours. If the Amount is less than that, still give us a call. We are not a chain so we can be flexible!

do you accept medicaid ?

At this time, we do not accept medicaid. We are private-pay and long term care insurance only.

do we cover holidays?

Yes, we cover all holidays! We can provide up to 24 hour care on all holidays. Please contact us for a full list of our holidays and rates as we consider days such as Mother’s Day as a holiday.

if i have pets, will you help out with our pets?

Yes, of course we will! Whole Hearted Senior Home Care loves when our clients have pets in the home and loves to help make sure they can stay at home as well. We believe that having pets around makes for a happier environment!

is there a difference in rate in Ma than nh?

No!

Are you contracts binding for a certain amount of time?

No, our contracts can be canceled at all times. We ask for a 2 week notice when terminating care with us. Failure to give proper notice will result in no return of deposit.

how do you train your employees?

All of our caregivers are enrolled in continuous training through a platform called “Home Care Pulse”. In addition to online training, all new employees are trying 12+ hours in home, and monitored by management. We mandate all annual training that meets state requirements in both NH and MA. Our Caregivers are also Certified in Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care.
